- My name's Chelsea. I knew when I was little that God had called me to work with kids, but he showed me while on a mission trip to Romania in 2006 what he truly wants me to do with my life. God called me to be a missionary to post-communist countries in Europe and to work with orphans. These kids are lost and have no hope and no future without the love of Christ. I graduated from Bethany College of Missions (BCOM) with my Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies on August 13th, 2011. After a 16 month internship in Central Asia with BCOM, I went back to Texas, where my parents live,and started preparing to go back on the mission field, but God had other plans. In October, I was offered a job as a Children's Pastor in my home state of Oregon. After several weeks of prayer and seeking counsel, I accepted and moved home! I was lisensed as a pastor on January 21st, 2012, and am now serving at East River Fellowship as the Children's Pastor. I absolutely love it, and have no doubts that this is where God wants me for this season of my life.

I got pictures taken for the church website. What's funny is that I was totally not paying attention to the photographer and then I heard *click*. I looked at him and was like, "I wasn't ready!" He goes, "No, it was a great picture!"
